Elizabeth has been dancing since childhood. Her background includes ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and several other forms of dance. It was when she discovered tango over 15 years ago, however, that her passion for dancing soared. She learned the unique art form from the Masters in Buenos Aires, Argentina, home of the tango.
The fluidity and gracefulness of her steps have drawn the acclaim of dancers and non-dancers alike. Featured in newspaper articles, television, video and film from Argentina to Canada, her work with tango has been highly publicized. The intensity and passion with which she moves creates an unequalled charisma.
Renowned for her fun and simple approach to tango, and the passion with which she teaches, Elizabeth specializes in the working foundation of tango, translating and answering the questions of "why" you do what you do, and "how" you can begin to communicate and converse through movement.
Considered among many to be one of the top teachers / instructors in the tango world, Elizabeth has tempted countless people across the globe to try Argentine Tango. She is a former member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the American Dance Therapy Association, and the Association for Conflict Resolution, and has been working with couples and individuals for over a decade now, assisting them in awakening their passion and strengthening their relationships, bodies and minds.
When not traveling, teaching and performing throughout the U.S. and other countries, she can be found dancing in the Sunshine State, Florida, her home.
